They contribute to innovation by ensuring materials meet safety and performance standards, enabling faster, greener, and more efficient construction techniques associated with MMC.

Experience

- Level 5 or 6 QQI Award in Laboratory Techniques, Construction Technology, or related fields
- Post-leaving certificate (PLC) course in Construction Studies, Science, or Engineering
Training & Certifications
- On-the-job training under supervision of lab technicians or engineers
- Short courses in material testing, lab safety, or sustainable construction practices
- Safe Pass (mandatory for most construction roles in Ireland)
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Certificate in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) – where relevant
