Role In MMC
The Digital Design Lead plays a vital role in enabling MMC by overseeing the integration of advanced design tools, BIM workflows, and DfMA principles into projects. They ensure that digital models are accurate, data-rich, and optimised for off-site manufacturing, modular assembly, and sustainable construction. This role bridges the gap between design intent and manufacturing reality, enabling seamless digital-to-physical workflows.

- Proven track record in digital design within construction or manufacturing
- Experience leading BIM teams or managing digital design processes

Education
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualifications in Digital Construction or Computational Design (advantage)
Training & Certifications
- BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 accreditation
- Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and similar platform certifications
- DfMA and MMC-specific training
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
- Sustainability and low-carbon design CPD
