Purpose Of The Role

The MMC Rigger safely lifts, positions, and secures prefabricated and modular components on-site or in manufacturing facilities, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in MMC installation.

Role In MMC

The MMC Rigger plays a critical role in the precise assembly of modular units, prefabricated structures, and large off-site manufactured components. By working closely with crane operators, site engineers, and assembly teams, they ensure the safe and accurate placement of MMC elements, enabling faster builds, reduced waste, and higher quality finishes.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a general rigger, slinger/signaller, or crane crew member

Education

  • SOLAS-approved Rigger or Slinger/Signaller training
  • Mobile and Tower Crane Safety Certification
  • Manual Handling Certification
  • Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) awareness
