The Safety Engineer designs, implements, and oversees systems that prevent accidents and injuries on construction sites, ensuring everyone goes home safely.
Role In MMC
As MMC transforms construction through offsite manufacturing, digital tools, and innovative processes, the Safety Engineer plays a key role in identifying and mitigating new types of risks. They design safety systems for factories and automated processes, analyse digital models for safety planning, and develop protocols for safer assembly of prefabricated elements onsite.

Experience
- Site engineering, project coordination, or construction management roles with exposure to health and safety.
- Experience in manufacturing or modular construction environments.
Education
- Level 8 Honours Degree in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Health and Safety or Risk Engineering are advantageous.

- Safe Pass (SOLAS)
- IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate
- Manual Handling Instructor Course (QQI Level 6)
- First Aid Responder (FAR) Training
