Digital Engineer

Purpose Of The Role

The Digital Engineer uses digital tools, data, and technologies to optimise the design, construction, and operation of built environment assets.

Role In MMC

Digital Engineers are essential to MMC, enabling platform-based construction, DfMA, and offsite production through the use of BIM, digital twins, simulations, and data integration. They drive digital workflows that improve accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability across the project lifecycle.

Experience

  • Prior roles in engineering, architecture, BIM, or site-based digital delivery.
  • Experience with design coordination, modelling, or digital construction processes.

Training & Certifications

  • Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri Training
  • BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 Training
  • Clash Detection and Issue Management Tools (e.g. BIMcollab, BIM Track)
