The Senior Product Innovation Manager leads the strategic development, launch, and continuous improvement of innovative construction products and systems that drive efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the marketplace.
Role In MMC
The Senior Product Innovation Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction by bringing to market products optimised for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), digital integration, and off-site manufacturing. They manage cross-functional teams to ensure new products are commercially viable, meet regulatory standards, and deliver measurable benefits in speed, quality, and environmental performance. This role ensures innovation is embedded into the company’s product portfolio, enabling it to stay ahead in an evolving MMC landscape.

Experience
- Proven track record in product innovation, R&D, or product management within construction or manufacturing
- Experience leading large-scale product development projects through to commercialisation
- Previous senior role in product development or innovation strategy
Education
- Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Architecture, or Manufacturing
- Postgraduate qualifications in Innovation Management, Business Strategy, or Sustainability (advantage)
Training & Certifications
- Advanced leadership and strategy training
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- BIM and digital product modelling training (CitA or equivalent)
- CE marking and regulatory compliance for construction products
- Commercial and contract management CPD
