Role In MMC
The Senior MMC Engineer plays a key role in translating design concepts into fully engineered, factory-ready solutions. They oversee structural and systems engineering for off-site manufacturing, modular assembly, and integrated building services, ensuring that all elements meet performance, sustainability, and quality standards. This role bridges technical engineering with manufacturing precision, optimising projects for speed, cost-efficiency, and low-carbon delivery.

Experience
- Engineering experience in modular, panelised, or prefabricated construction
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Previous role as MMC Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer
Education
- Degree in Structural, Mechanical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) through Engineers Ireland is an advantage
Training & Certifications
- BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 accreditation
- DfMA and modular engineering training
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
- Sustainability and low-carbon construction CPD
- Project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
