Role In MMC
Electrical Engineers contribute significantly to MMC by designing systems that are compatible with modular and prefabricated components. They work with digital models, support platform-based approaches, and help coordinate offsite installation of electrical systems for faster and more precise delivery.

Experience
- Experience in site installation, electrical contracting, or building services design.
- CAD/BIM modelling experience beneficial.
Education
- BEng or MEng in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, Installation, or Design.
Training & Certifications
- BS 7671 – IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
- Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, or other design software training
- BIM Awareness or ISO 19650 Courses
- Low Voltage Design & Energy Efficiency CPDs
- Electrical Testing & Inspection (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
- MMC and DfMA Awareness Courses
- Health & Safety (e.g. CDM Regulations, ECS Card)
