The Module Assembly Technician assembles and finishes modular building units in a controlled factory or assembly setting, ensuring quality, accuracy, and readiness for transportation to site.

Module Assembly Technicians are at the heart of MMC. They are responsible for building structural and internal components of modular units offsite, helping to deliver higher-quality, faster, and more sustainable construction outcomes.

Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is highly beneficial.
- Previous roles in carpentry, electrical pre-wiring, mechanical fitting or general operatives in modular settings are relevant.
Education
- Leaving Certificate desirable but not essential.
- QQI Level 4/5 awards in construction, woodwork, engineering, or manufacturing disciplines are advantageous.
Training & Certifications
- On-the-job training in modular assembly techniques.
- In-house training in lean or digital workflows.
- Manual Handling certification.
- Safe Pass (particularly if modules are assembled outdoors or near loading areas).
- Forklift or MEWP licence (if materials handling is involved).
