Purpose Of The Role

The Modular Assembly Lead oversees and coordinates the on-site assembly of modular construction components, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Role In MMC

The Modular Assembly Lead is integral to MMC, managing the transition of prefabricated modules from off-site manufacturing to on-site installation. They ensure seamless integration of modular components, optimising workflows, minimising waste, and improving construction efficiency.

Prerequisites

Education

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Modular Building Systems.
  • Technical training in modular construction, site supervision, or digital construction.

Experience

  • Hands-on experience in modular assembly, site operations, or construction supervision.
  • Previous roles in logistics, prefabrication, or structural installation.

Training & Certifications

  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.
  • BIM training for digital assembly management.
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
  • Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
  • First Aid and Health & Safety certifications with Safe Pass, SOLAS CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme): IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
