In-Centre Evening Course – City & Guilds L3 2D Computer Aided Design Software
Target Audience
This course is aimed at those who are employed and unemployed.
Course Aim:
The aim of this programme is to equip the learner with the basic understanding and principles of 2D drawing environment and will develop their knowledge and practical skills to create complex drawings including annotations and output using multiple view layouts. It will also enable them to manage CAD drawing data and libraries in line with industry standards using the latest version of AutoCAD.
Course Schedule:
The course is one evening per week, in-centre, Thursday, 6pm - 10pm for 23 weeks plus 2 Public Holidays (Christmas).
Recruitment:
Applicants will be invited to an information session prior to the start date.
Cost:
If in employment, full time, part time or self-employed, you may be eligible for a fee waiver or reduced course fees under the Skills to Advance initiative. Contact us for further details.
If you are in receipt of a DSP payment, you may be eligible for a fee waiver. Contact your local Intreo office for a direct referral.
If neither of the above two categories apply to you, the cost is €550
Those in Direct Provision require the following to be eligible for funding/fee waivers
- In the country for longer than 6 months
- Valid Work Permit/Labour Market Letter
- Valid TRC (Temporary Residence Card)
