Course duration: 4 weeks Continuous intake, fully online, self-directed learning course The Artificial Intelligence course introduces the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) – the intelligence demonstrated by a machine when it perceives its environment and takes actions that maximise the likelihood of achieving specific goals. Businesses and organisations can save time and money and can innovate by automating routine processes and tasks, increasing productivity and operational efficiencies and making faster business decisions based on outputs from cognitive technologies. This module is suitable for a wide range of learners; for example, non-technical professionals who wish to build and demonstrate an understanding of Artificial Intelligence, facilitating engagement with their technical colleagues or their suppliers, or learners who wish to add general technical knowledge to sector-specific or general studies.

Employability Statement The successful completion of the QQI Level 5 award in Construction Technology / Renewable Energies & Civil Engineering will enable applicants to work independently and under supervision in a range of construction industry contexts whilst applying current building regulations and safety and health regulations to specific construction related projects.

The aim of the Level 5 Award in Environmental Sustainability in the Workplace is to develop the learner's awareness of the impacts of environmental change and the key sustainable practices that can be implemented by a business and by an individual. This programme has been developed based on consultation with the EPA, SEAI, Irish Water, IDA, Enterprise Ireland and the Regional Skills Fora, and direct consultation with employers on their needs. In order to meet these needs learners must successfully complete the following module for this programme.
