Description
Dún Laoghaire Further Education Institute (DFEI) has rebranded and is now known as
Dublin College Dún Laoghaire
COURSE FEES:
All PLC courses have a non-refundable €50 acceptance/registration fee.
In addition to this fee, please note that specialist training costs, material costs, or professional fees may apply to some courses.
PROGRAMME AIM:
The aim of this programme is to enable the student to acquire the knowledge skill and competence to work autonomously and under supervision in a range of computer aided design and or drawing office contexts and or to progress to further and or higher education and training.
This programme is full time. Please note that timetable and module choices are subject to change.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Leaving Certificate (Established/LCVP/LCA) or equivalent
- Relevant Level 4 QQI Award
- Mature Applicants are welcome

CERTIFICATION:
Level 5 QQI Award: Computer Aided Design (5M1940)
PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES:
Upon successful completion of this course, students may progress to the Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Architectural Technology and Design at Dublin College Dún Laoghaire.
Graduates are also eligible to apply through the CAO and/or the Higher Education Links Scheme for entry to a range of programmes at Institutes of Technology and Universities nationwide.
