Prerequisites
Education
- Diploma or certification in HVAC systems, mechanical engineering, or building services.
- Additional coursework in energy efficiency or refrigeration technology.
Experience
- Hands-on experience as an HVAC apprentice or technician.
- Work in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) roles within the construction industry.
Training & Certifications
- Safe pass Card and SOLAS Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card (if applicable).
- NFQ Level 4 or 5 in HVAC Installation or Maintenance.
- QQI Level 5 Special Purpose Award in F-Gas Handling (Category I or II)
